DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH No.28, CLAYHIDON) Public Path Order

NOTICE OF MAKING AN ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH NO.28, CLAYHIDON) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2026

The above Order, made on 26 March 2026 under Section 119 of the Highways Act
1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert part of
public footpath No.28, Clayhidon running from its current route through Troakes
Farm, A-B-C to a route through the fields west of Troakes A-D-E as shown on the
Order map.
A copy of the Order and the Order map may be seen free of charge at the offices of
Mid Devon District Council, Phoenix House, Tiverton EX16 6PP from 10.00am to
4.00pm, and downloaded at www.devon.gov.uk/haveyoursay.
Any representations or objections to the Order must be sent in writing to Public
Rights of Way, Great Moor House, Cleave Tor, Bittern Road, Sowton, Exeter,
Devon, EX2 7NL not later than 06 October 2026.
