Gareth Weekes of Deadbeer, Clayhidon, died on March 8th while on holiday in the Caribbean with his wife Alison.

Gareth Weekes of Deadbeer, Clayhidon, died on March 8th while on holiday in the Caribbean with his wife Alison.
An inquest has been opened and adjourned and the Coroner has given permission for the funeral to take place.
After a private cremation, a memorial service will be held at St Andrews Church Clayhidon, at 3pm on Saturday, April 22. The couple were married there in May 2007.
Afterwards the family are inviting all those who have paid their respects to the village hall for refreshments.

This website was started by Gareth several years ago and for at least the last three he has been looking for someone to take it over. It is used by Clayhidon Parish Council to post agendas, minutes and other information and has an archive of community news.

Alison Weekes writes:” I apologise that I have not organised a Clayhidon litterpick this year for reasons most of you will know and understand. We should be very grateful to the many local residents who do this work on a voluntary basis all year round.
