4.1           22/02270/FULL.  Change of use of agricultural land to domestic curtilage and siting of timber

chalet for annex/ancillary accommodation.  Sunset, Rosemary Lane.

4.2           22/01483/FULL.  Erection of 4 dwellings with 1 garage, parking, landscaping, drainage and

associated works following demolition of existing dwelling and chapel building.  Rose Cottage, Clayhidon.

4.3           22/02379/HOUSE.  Erection of a garden room following removal of existing conservatory

Ravens, Rosemary Lane, Clayhidon.

To note permission granted for:-

4.4           22/02320/NMA.  Non-Material Amendment for 19/01509/HOUSE to allow repositioning of front porch.  Hatchet and Brandy Cottage, Clayhidon.

4.5           22/02133/FULL.  Erection of roof over yard.  Callers Farm, Clayhidon.

Mrs A Weekes (Chair), Mr M Bendle, Mr J Blackmore, Mr R Brown, Mr R Drew (Vice Chair), Mr J Kidner, Mr N King, Mrs D Evans (Parish Clerk), and members of the public.

 
2.            Declarations of Interest 

Agenda item 4.1 – Mr Blackmore has a personal interest as the applicants are family members.  He chooses not to participate in the matter.

Agenda item 4.2 – Clayhidon Parish Council is the sole trustee of the John Griss Charity which owns Rose Cottage.

3.            Public Participation 

3.1       A drain at Bolham is blocked.  A parishioner has attempted to rod it but was unable to get rods through.  Anecdotal evidence suggests the drain was filled with stones years ago.  Clerk will report to Devon Highways and follow up with email to Dan Wood, Neighbourhood Highways Officer.

3.2       A parishioner enquired about the possibility of replacing a shed and changing gateway to road.  He was advised to submit a planning application to MDDC.

6.          Items raised by chairman 

6.1     Taunton Vale Harriers (TVH) have been operating in the parish and whilst some landowners were informed, others were not.  Mr Bendle will provide the contact details of TVH to Mrs Weekes who will request that they inform the relevant landowners.

7.          Items raised by Councillors

7.1      Mr Blackmore confirmed he had dug out the ditches along the lane by Hatchet & Brandy and the water is now running freely.

7.2     East Devon Hunt have been trespassing at Hartsmoor.  Clerk asked to send a letter informing them that they do not have permission and if seen there in the future they will be reported to the police.

7.3     Mr Brown reported a blocked drain at top of road above French Nut Tree.  Mr Houghton will be asked to inspect.

7.4     Merry Harriers is subject to a new planning application.  Clerk to ask to be sent details for comment.
